It’s this individualised approach that has earned Western College a number of prestigious accolades, including being named NSW Small Training Provider of the Year for 2010, for which the College is also a finalist for this year’s NSW State Training Awards.

We are proud to again be acknowledged as a state-wide leader in training service provision – a reflection of our philosophy of being small enough to provide relevant and flexible education options for the community, but big enough to ensure choice and quality training services for students and the business community.

For Western College, a regionally based organisation, to win these awards over some of the most highly resourced metropolitan colleges in the state is a satisfying achievement and an acknowledgement for the work our trainers and staff do to ensure the highest possible standard of training and educational options for the community we serve.

But while the awards are nice, and it’s always gratifying to be acknowledged for hard work, it’s the satisfaction we gain from being part of the community and for achieving outcomes for our students that really keeps us motivated.
